On August 1, a thematic meeting “Flowers of Inspiration” was held in the Botanical Garden of ISU. To the sound of rain, our guests listened to an interesting lecture "Flowers in Ballet", live music in the greenhouse and painted roses using coffee solution and watercolors.

Lilies have blossomed in our garden, which continues to bloom.

The lily genus (Lilium) has over 3,000 varieties. They differ in flower shape (cup-shaped, tubular, star-shaped), color, and fragrance.

Lilies are perennial bulbous plants; their flowers consist of six free tepals adapted for pollination by insects.

Interesting fact: pure blue lilies do not exist in nature.

The first rudbeckia flowers have also appeared, and roses continue to bloom.
